World Mental Health Day

For World Mental Health Day I wanted to share some of my experiences. 🌊 Since launching my business 2020 has not been an easy year.


As a small business owner you need to portray confidence in your offer but also remain sensitive to what is going on.


The pressure to pay your bills always looms and the best analogy I can use is swimming far from shore, there is no boat and you’re tired. 🏊🏻‍♂️


If you know this feeling, you know.


Everyone deals with pressure differently.


I’m always trying to build for the future, but as we’ve entered October the fatigue which comes from working hard for months on end without break is starting to take its toll.


This pressure starts to invade your head space. You’re always thinking about work. 👤


Switch off if you can. Smile.


Being resilient doesn’t mean being invincible.


Is this fatigue mental health? I don’t know, but I do my best.


To anyone else, the storm will clear and hopefully one day you will be able to stand in shallower water. It will get easier. At least I hope it will.


Nobody knows what’s coming next week or next month, but we do our best.


Keep swimming.
